Man struck, killed by train

PHILADELPHIA (AP) — A man is dead after police say he was struck by a freight train while walking along railroad tracks.

Investigators say the 39-year-old Jenkintown man was walking along the tracks in the Philadelphia neighborhood of Bustleton when he was struck Tuesday evening.

Philadelphia police say the man was pronounced dead at the scene. His name is being withheld pending notification of his family.
