Akron Children's Hospital of Mahoning Valley gets $10K grant

BOARDMAN — Akron Children’s Hospital Mahoning Valley has been awarded a grant of $10,000 from The J. Ford Crandall Memorial Foundation to help fund renovation costs associated with the opening of the pediatric surgery center located on the Beeghly Campus here.

In recognition of the donation, the family consultation room located within the surgical services area will be named for the J. Ford Crandall Memorial Foundation.

The completely renovated 14,000-square-foot facility provides modern surgical suites, a sterile processing center, and an eight-bed post-anesthesia care unit.
