Ohio teen critically shot sitting on couch

CLEVELAND (AP) — Authorities in Cleveland say a 13-year-old girl sitting on the couch in her living room was critically wounded by shots fired into the home.

Two people have been arrested in Monday evening’s shooting of Brianna Hines. There was no immediate word on any charges filed in the case.

Police say the girl was sitting on the couch with her back to the window when four shots were fired into the home. She was hospitalized in critical condition.

Family members tell WJW-TV that a 3-year-old boy also was in the living room at the time.
