MAHONING COUNTY

Celtic Healthcare offers hot, nutritious meals weekdays at eight locations in Mahoning County for people 60 or older and their spouses, regardless of age. Reservations are required three days in advance, and transportation is available. A $2 donation is suggested per meal. Home-delivered meals are also available for seniors homebound due to illness, injury or handicap.

Wednesday, March 9: Salisbury steak, mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, banana, bread stick and milk.

Thursday, March 10: Cheese pizza, corn, brussels sprouts, unsweetened pineapple, margarine, orange gelatin cup and milk.

Friday, March 11: Lo col omelet, Tater Tots, orange juice, unsweetened applesauce, muffin, ketchup and milk.

Saturday, March 12: Turkey and cheese on a Diamond Jim bun, tossed salad, carrot raisin salad, fresh orange, cookie.

Monday, March 14: Teriyaki chicken, penne pasta with sauce, wax beans, grape juice, Italian bread, margarine and milk.

Tuesday, March 15: Vegetarian chili, sweet potatoes, corn, unsweetened pears, crackers, chocolate cupcake, angel food cake and milk.

TRUMBULL COUNTY

The Trumbull County Office of Elderly Affairs offers older people a well-balanced meal and an opportunity to share fellowship weekdays at 12 locations in Trumbull County. Reservations must be made two working days in advance. Any person 60 or older or whose spouse is 60 or over is eligible to attend. There is no income requirement. The suggested donation is $1.50 per meal.

Wednesday, March 9: Macaroni and cheese, stewed tomatoes, Italian green beans, Italian bread with margarine, diced pears and milk.

Thursday, March 10: Teriyaki chicken, au gratin potatoes, oriental mixed vegetables, rye bread with margarine, fruit mix and milk.

Friday, March 11: Ham slice with pineapple, mashed yams, creamed corn, wheat bread with margarine, diced peaches and milk.

Monday, March 14: Cheese omelet, sausage patty, seasoned potatoes, applesauce, blueberry muffin, orange juice and milk.

Tuesday, March 15: Johnny Marzetti, cauliflower, lima beans, wheat bread with margarine, fruit mix and milk.
