Gospel music planned at church

COLUMBIANA

Columbiana Methodist Church will host Community Christian Women on March 14. Kay Ackins and Penny Staley, from East Liverpool, will present a program of gospel music. They have sung together for many years.

Staley, a minister’s daughter and a cancer survivor, owns a dog grooming business and writes music.

The meeting will begin with a luncheon at 12:30 p.m. for a $6 donation. Reservations should be called in to your church representative or by calling Carolyn Beck at 330-482-2155 or Helen Winegord at 330-482-2152. Reservations are due Thursday.
