Feb. 12

Arrest: Police investigated a traffic accident in the 3100 block of Spitler Road, then charged 18-year-old Stephen N. Sofocleous II, 7915 Meadowbrooke Trail, Poland, with operating a vehicle impaired. He was released on a summons.

Feb. 16

Theft: Shannon M. Veauthier, 30, of 1024 Mahoning Ave., Youngstown, surrendered on a theft charge. She was accused of stealing $113 worth of merchandise from Giant Eagle, 3130 Center Road.

Feb. 18

Theft/criminal damaging: A man in the 7200 block of Forest Hill Drive reported vehicle damage, as well as a global-positioning-system unit, $200 and other property stolen.

Burglary: To a township residence from which a $250 portable compact-disc player was stolen. No address was in the report.

Auto theft: A 2000 Ford Focus was stolen in the 2100 block of Lyon Boulevard.

Theft: A Forest Hill Drive woman reported the theft of a passbook, an automated-teller-machine card and numerous other pieces of personal information.

Harassment: A township man filed a report.

Identity theft: A Poland woman discovered $1,559 worth of fraudulent charges to her debit-card account.
