Some of the treasures recovered Friday from the time capsule that was embedded in the June 11, 1908, cornerstone-laying ceremony and removed last week:

A square block of the white marble that was used to construct the courthouse interior, engraved with the names of county building commission members.

A 1908 Youngstown city directory.

The book of architectural specifications for the courthouse.

The 1907-08 annual report of the Reuben McMillan Free Library, which would open the present main library on Wick Avenue in December 1910.
