Christ Episcopal Church, 2627 Atlantic St. NE, Warren: A soup and bread supper will be at 6 p.m. Wednesdays, March 16-April 13, followed by sessions on sacred practices of the church including foot washing, home blessings, funeral liturgy and Stations of the Cross.
Good Hope Lutheran Church, 98 Homestead Drive, Boardman: A Lenten series, “By Faith,” will be at 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. March 16, 23 and 30 and April 6 and 13 and will feature soup suppers at 6 p.m.
Historic Lutheran Church of St. John, 1429 Mahoning Ave., Youngstown: St. John Academy of Theological Study will meet at 6 p.m. March 16, 23 and 30 and April 6 for soup/sandwich, then discussion and organ vespers at 8.
Holy Rosary Church, 131 E. Wood St., Lowellville: A Lenten study program will be at 7 p.m. March 23 and 30; family movie night at 7 p.m. April 6; and communal penance service at 7 p.m. April 13.
Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 381 Robbins Ave., Niles: “Real Life Holiness: Stories of Forgiveness, Prayer and Gratitude” will be presented by Jim Merhaut at 7 p.m. March 13-15 and conclude with a simple reception downstairs in Marian Hall. Information: 330-652-5825.
Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 490 N. High St. Cortland: With St. John Lutheran Church of Warren will host dinner at 6 p.m. followed by a movie, “The Robe,” on March 16.
Ursuline Center, 4280 Shields Road, Canfield: Begin the holy season of Lent and “travel” the road to Calvary by following the candlelit path of the labyrinth at 7 p.m. Sunday. The walk will take place no matter the weather. Refreshments will follow in the center atrium.
Villa Maria Spirituality and Education Center, Villa Maria, Pa.: A series, Lenten Reflections: Passion Narratives, will be at 1:30 p.m. March 16, 23, 30 and April 6 and 13 at the community center with the Rev.
