Jan. 18
Theft: A set of headphones in a box with all original packaging was stolen from a student’s locker at Canfield High School, 100 Cardinal Drive.
Drug trafficking: Police arrested Taylor Kline, 18, of 6368 Gibson Road, on a charge of trafficking in marijuana at Canfield High School.
Warrant: Police arrested Matthew Crowl, 32, of 513 Cherry St., Salem, on a warrant for failure to appear on a larceny charge.
Jan. 24
Stolen wallet: A male juvenile student at the Mahoning County Career and Technical Center, 7300 N. Palmyra Road, told police his wallet was left in his locker and is missing.
Jan. 25
Warrant: Police arrested Kenneth Kinback, 38, of Canton on a warrant for failure to appear in mayor’s court on a falsification charge.
Jan. 26
Fraudulent credit card: Professional Engines System, 495 W. Main St., reported that an order that had been paid for by credit card was later found to be fraudulent use of the card. Initially the $2,274 paid to the company by credit card was withdrawn from the company’s bank account, but the credit card company later reimbursed the company. The company has not been able to contact the original purchaser out of Miamisburg.

Drug abuse: Police arrested Joseph Carothers, 20, of 405 Glenwoods Court, Boardman on charges of drug abuse and possession of drug paraphernalia after finding small amounts of suspected marijuana, rolling papers and a ceramic cigarette with suspected marijuana residue.
Feb. 2
Theft: A Chapel Lane man reported to police that $478.76 in fraudulent charges were made to his debit card.
Drug abuse: Kenneth Shimsky, 59, of 23 Fairview, Campbell, was arrested on charges of drug abuse and possession of drug paraphernalia after police found approximately 0.5 grams of crack cocaine and a glass pipe containing burnt cocaine residue.
Feb. 6
Warrant: Christopher Poe, 29, of 7815 Akron-Canfield Road, was arrested on an active warrant out of Trumbull County.
Feb. 7
Drug abuse: Police charged Curtis Elliot, 28, of 9628 Bear Hollow Drive, Deerfield, with drug abuse of marijuana and methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia, including a silver pipe with marijuana residue and a glass container containing methamphetamine after his arrest at East Main Street and Fairground Boulevard.
Feb. 9
Disorderly conduct: A Canfield High school administrator told police a student had pushed a teacher at the school, 100 Cardinal Drive.
Feb. 11
Bad check: An employee at Bernard Daniels Lumber Co., 250 Railroad St., reported a customer paid for items that totaled more than $1,000 and the check bounced.
Feb. 15
Warrant: Roberto Vega, 30, of 4115 Canfield Road, Youngstown, was arrested on two Mayor’s Court warrants charging failure to appear.
Feb. 16
Drug abuse: Kenneth Saunders, 18, of 5145 W. Elmwood Ave., Youngstown was arrested on charges of drug abuse for possession of marijuana at the Mahoning County Career and Technical Center, 7300 N. Palmyra Road.
Feb. 17
ID Theft: A Hood Drive man reported that unauthorized charges had been made to his bank account at First Place Bank.
Feb. 19
Theft: A camera, Apple iPod and Bose headset were reported stolen from a home in the 2000 block of Colonial Drive.
Feb. 22
Warrant: Police arrested Robert Phillips, 24, of 8925 W. Calla Road, on a mayor’s court warrant stemming from a driving under suspension charge. He plead guilty and was released.
Feb. 23
Drugs: Police arrested Elah Ali, 22, of 153 Harrow Lane, Youngstown on charges of drug abuse of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia at North Broad Street and the Ohio Turnpike.
Feb. 23
Warrant: Police arrested Thomas Andres, 27, of 873 Trailwood Drive, Boardman on a warrant for failure to appear in Mayor’s Court.
Feb. 24
Warrant: Police arrested Erica Kinback, 39, Canton, on a mayor’s court warrant for failure to appear.
Feb. 25
Drug abuse, paraphernalia: Andrew Nutt, 22, of 895 McKinley Ave., Sebring, was arrested on a charge of drug abuse of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
