BUMP schedules school open house

BOARDMAN

Boardman United Methodist Preschool and Child Care Center, 6809 Market St., will host an open house from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday.

BUMP has openings in the infant room from ages 3 to 18 months, childcare rooms for ages 18 months to 5 years, and preschool programs for ages 3 to 5.

The open house will give parents an opportunity to tour BUMP, meet the teachers and discuss educational possibilities for their children.

BUMP is NAEYC accredited, which is a program dedicated to improving the well-being of children.

WRTA chief to speak at citizens meeting

YOUNGSTOWN

Northeast Homeowners and Concerned Citizens Association will have a meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Price Memorial A.M.E. Zion Church, 920 Dryden Ave.

Guest speaker will be James Ferraro, executive director of Western Reserve Transit Authority. Ferraro will share information about the services WRTA provides.
