Two Valley organizations honored for beautifying Youngstown's Brier Hill

Dominion East Ohio has honored Lien Forward Ohio and Treez Please for their neighborhood beautification work in Youngstown’s Brier Hill area.

Dominion awarded $100,000 to 12 winners in its annual Community Impact Awards competition, which is co-sponsored by Dominion and Inside Business magazine.

Lien Forward and Treez Please will share an $8,000 award.

Lien Forward helps people acquire vacant abandoned properties in Mahoning County and restore them to productive use. Treez Please is a nonprofit organization that promotes reforestation in Youngstown.
