Boardman’s D.J. Ogilvie headed to Florida


BOARDMAN — Boardman High football coach D.J. Ogilvie has resigned to take a similar position with a high school in Florida.

Ogilvie, 42, who was 30-43 in seven seasons at Boardman, guided the Spartans to playoff appearances in 2007 and 2009.

He will take over the program at Lemon Bay High School in Englewood, Fla.
