Lawrence Co. propery owners to receive revised tax bills

NEW CASTLE, Pa. — Lawrence County treasurer, county commissioners and tax assessment office is notifying county property owners they will be receiving a revised county property tax bill.

Due to a programming error by Infocon Corp., numerous property owners received tax bills with the incorrect name.

The county contracted with Infocon to print and mail the tax bills. The company has partnered with the county for more than 30 years to provide the tax-billing services. County officials said the mishap will not affect any other tax bills mailed this year.

The company will bear the expense of reprinting and mailing the tax bills. If you have already paid your tax bill, disregard the revised bill, county officials said.
