Boardman couple charged with receiving stolen GM property have hearing
YOUNGSTOWN — A Boardman couple charged with receiving stolen property in the theft of Chevrolet and Pontiac nameplates and emblems from the General Motors Lordstown plant waived their appearance at their arraignment today before Magistrate Dominic DeLaurentis of Mahoning County Common Pleas Court.
Dennis J. Bruner, 41, a GM hourly worker, and his wife, Jaimie E., 33, both of Wolcott Drive, are free on $1,500 bond posted by their lawyer, J. Gerald Ingram, who entered innocent pleas for them.
Police said they seized more than 4,400 items from the couple’s home, and that Jaimie Bruner sold more than $200,000 worth of GM property on eBay.
The case is assigned to Judge R. Scott Krichbaum.
