‘Princesses on Parade’ promises fun for girls

Area girls ages 3 to 12 will have a chance to walk the runway in their favorite princess attire during the second annual “Princesses on Parade” fashion show, set for 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday at the Dutch Village Inn.

Each parading princess will receive a free professional makeup application by Mary Kay Cosmetics before the show, and each girl will be crowned with a tiara before a runway walk in her gown.

The event includes a dinner and an original fairy-tale production, “Where Dreams Begin,” before the parade. A slumber party will follow at 8 p.m. in the main banquet hall of the inn.

Reservations are required. Ticket orders and registrations are being taken through Thursday at the inn, at 330-482-5050 ext. 310.
