Newton Falls classes mark 92nd reunion

WARREN

Newton Falls Schoolmates and Friends 92nd reunion took place June 18 at DiVieste Banquet Room in Warren, with 402 people attending.

Welcoming their schoolmates were Nancy Haught Fernandez, Ed Hammond, Ed McLaughlin, Nancy Whaley Moser, Ann Wassum Palm and Tom Palmer.

Palmer and Moser introduced and gently roasted the honored class of 1961.

Officers for the 2012 reunion will be Merial Hilty Price, chairwoman; Dennis Lewis, vice chairman; Palmer, vice chairman; Bob Hoffman, vice chairman; Jim Paisley, secretary; Evelyn Smith Ballas, treasurer; and Velma Jones Jacob, Historian.

Next year’s reunion will be June 16, 2012, at DiVieste’s. The class of 1962 will be honored.
