7 nabbed on drug charges in Ellwood City

ELLWOOD CITY, PA.

Seven people were arrested and arraigned Monday on charges of delivery and possession of drugs.

They were taken to the Lawrence County jail in lieu of $25,000 bond.

They were arrested after selling drugs to a confidential informant over a period of several months, according to documents on file at District Magistrate Jerry Cartwright’s office.

They will appear in Central Court July 6 for preliminary hearings.

David Martin Kimmel, 22, of Wampum Avenue is accused of selling crack cocaine March 3 in a Lawrence County housing project on Pershing Street.

Shawn O’Brien Hardesty, 24, of Main Street in Wampum conspired May 20 with co-defendant Sarah Parks to sell oxycodone at the Circle Playground on Willow Way, authorities allege.

Parks, 20, of Harpers Ferry Road in Beaver Falls, and Hardesty sold two doses of oxycodone there, affidavits say.

Hardesty also sold marijuana to an informant on May 16 and May 25 in the parking lot of the McDonald’s, affidavits say.

Virginia L. Klinesmith, 65, of Loop Street sold four doses of acetamenophen hydrocodone bitartnate to an informant April 15 at her home, affidavits say.

Leah Renae Schwartz, 26, of Loop Street sold oxycodone at her residence April 15, affidavits say.

Richelle Lynn Kosto, 29, of Loop Street sold two plastic bags of cocaine to an informant at her residence April 19, authorities allege. Frederick James Carlin II, 27, had suboxone tablets to sell at his home on Division Avenue, authorities say.
