Bar association elects new officers

YOUNGSTOWN

The Mahoning County Bar Association has installed Atty. Robert N. Rusu as its president for the coming year, succeeding Atty. Michael D. Harlan.

The association also conferred its distinguished service award on Attys. Scott R. Cochran and James B. Dietz for their exemplary service to the association and the community and awarded 14 scholarships in varying amounts to law students.

Recognized Monday for 60 years as lawyers were Attys. Dean F. Ferris, W. Glenn Osborne, Albert J. Ortenzio and Myron J. Regenstreich.

Attys. Donald E. Tucker and Daniel B. Roth were recognized for 55 years in the legal profession.

Recognized for 50 years as lawyers were Attys. Dale E. Bricker, Peter B. Grinstein, David K. Holmquist and Joseph W. Maxin.

Elected to three-year terms as association trustees were Attys. Shirley J. Christian, Edward J. Hartwig and Atty. Dietz. Atty. Megan M. Graff was elected to a two-year term as a trustee at the association’s annual election banquet at the Youngstown Country Club.
