Alliance hospital sets Saturday events

Alliance Community Hospital is announcing back-to-back Saturday events in July to benefit the community. On July 9, the hospital will host a free community carnival from 2 to 5 p.m. in the discharge circle area.

The carnival will include a DJ, clowns, a dunk tank, festival games, a therapies section (including time with the pet therapy dogs) and several tents offering displays of historical events in Alliance as well as exhibits chronicling ACH highlights through the years. Information on hospital programs, services, clinical specialties and support groups also will be available.

On July 16, the Alliance Visiting Nurse Association and Hospice will sell hot dogs from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the parking lot of the Lowe’s store, 2595 W. State St.
