The city has settled a three-year contract with its dispatchers.
Council passed an ordinance adopting the contract at its meeting last week.
The city’s three dispatchers did not get hourly raises, though the lead dispatcher will get $1,000 additional a year.
“She has more responsibilities,” said Mayor Terry Stocker.
Dispatchers will also get longevity pay, beginning in their sixth year of service, of $176 for six years up to $880 for 26 years.
Dispatchers make $23,376 a year.
There was no change in co-pay for health-care benefits.
Employees pay up to 7 percent of their premiums for coverage.
The three dispatchers are all on family coverage, which is $1,271 a month, said city auditor Tina Morell. They pay $85 a month toward it.
