Clarks to play at Wingfest

Pittsburgh-based rock band The Clarks will perform at the Greater Youngstown Wingfest on July 22, according to a news release from Covelli Centre.

Wingfest, which will be outdoors at Covelli July 21-23, will feature chicken wings, other vendors and live music.

A showcase of local bands will perform on opening night July 21. On the final night, July 23, Michael Stanley and the Resonators will take the stage.

Tickets for The Clarks and Michael Stanley are $10 ($25 for Gold Circle) at ticketmaster.com, the Covelli box office, by phone at 1-800-745-3000 and at the gate the day of the show. Additional fees may apply.

Michael Stanley tickets are on sale now; tickets for The Clarks go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday.

Tickets for the opening showcase of local bands, presented by Third Arm Productions, will be $5 at the gate.

Wingfest will open at 5 p.m. July 21; noon July 22; and noon July 23, with a classic car show.
