Penn-Ohio Fusion

The 11U Penn-Ohio Fusion baseball team went undefeated to win the Nations Baseball Ohio State Tournament in Bowling Green. The Fusion record is 40-6 and has upcoming tournaments in Pittsburgh, Akron, Solon and Beaver Valley. Team members are: Dylan Beasom, Howland; Frankie Rappach, Howland; Trent Vandevort, Boyers, Pa); Hunter Fitzingo, Boyers, Pa.; Jacob Jewart, Chicora, Pa.; Hayden Parker, Howland; Erick English, Maumee; Travis Perry. Oil City, Pa.; Joshua Adamson, North Washington, Pa.; and Brice Williams, Boyers, Pa. The coaches include Howland’s Frank Rappach and Kirk Parker.

Ohio Glaciers

The Ohio Glaciers 12-younger baseball team recently won a CABA tournament in Rehoboth, Del. The Glaciers are 43-3 overall. The Glaciers defeated Mid States Mavericks in the championship game, 6-5, to earn a a berth in the CABA World Series. The team includes six players from Canfield: Joe DeLucia, Ethan Kalina, Chris Lewis, Joey Machuga, Zach Tinkey and Anthony Vross. Also on the team are Columbiana’s Michael McDonough and Champion’s Lucas Nasonti and Michael Turner.
