JCC summer fun

YOUNGSTOWN

Jewish Community Center, 505 Gypsy Lane, is registering children for Camp JCC. It’s 10 weeks of summer fun offered in one-week affordable sessions.

The camp is for children in grades one through eight and offers swimming, tennis, basketball, aerobics, dance, volleyball, soccer and much more. Campers also can go horseback riding, attend Lego Camp and take field trips to the Great Lakes Science Center, Pioneer Waterland and a Cleveland Indians baseball game.

‘Life after 40’

YOUNGSTOWN

Dr. Darrell L. Grace will speak about cancer at a “Life after 40” meeting at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the E.B. Family Life Center at 7 S. Garland Ave. (the former Elizabeth Missionary Baptist Church building). A free light lunch will be provided.
