“TRUE BLOOD” (9 p.m., hbo): Vampires suck. And poor Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin) apparently wants nothing more to do with them. When we last saw our favorite Bon Temps waitress, she split town feeling betrayed by Bill (Stephen Moyer) and ticked off at Eric (Alexander Skarsgard). Next stop: Fairy land. But you just know that even more trouble lies ahead in Season 4 of this sexy, suspenseful soap. Look for it to arrive in the form of evil witches who plan to wreak havoc in Bon Temps.
“leverage” (9 p.m., tnt): Timothy Hutton returns for Season 4 of “Leverage.” In the opener, he and his band of high-tech Robin Hoods face a tough challenge: recovering lost evidence from high atop a mountain.
“law & order: CRIMINAL INTENT” (9 P.M., USA): It’s case closed for “Law & Order: Criminal Intent.” In the series finale, Goren and Eames (Vincent D’Onofrio, Kathryn Erbe) delve into the murder of two staffers at a Web company involved in a vicious lawsuit. James Van Der Beek guest stars.

Informative bus trip to several local sites

“A Diamond in Your Own Backyard” is the theme of a one-day bus tour July 13 to the Butler Institute of American Art, Arms Family Museum and Romanian Orthodox Church in Youngstown, and the Ward Thomas House in Niles. The cost is $45, which covers admissions, tour guides, transportation, driver’s tip, snacks and bottled water and brief lectures on Victorian art and architecture during the bus ride. Lunch will be a pizza buffet with salad and dessert for $9.50 at Avalon Gardens in Youngstown. Boarding is at 8:30 a.m. at the Walmart parking lot on Elm Road.
