MAHONING COUNTY

Celtic Healthcare offers hot, nutritious meals weekdays at eight locations in Mahoning County for people 60 or older and their spouses, regardless of age. Reservations are required three days in advance. Transportation is available for those 60 or older; call 330-884-2511 to set up. A $2 donation is suggested per meal. Home-delivered meals are also available for seniors homebound due to illness, injury or handicap.

Wednesday, June 29: Beef steak patty, baked potato, peas, unsweetened pears, oatmeal bread, apple graham or sugar-free cookie, and milk.

Thursday, June 30: Ham, bread, mustard/mayo, tossed salad, three-bean salad, apple, fig bar and milk.

Friday, July 1: Breaded fish on a bun, tartar sauce, margarine, corn, green beans, unsweetened peaches, and milk.

Saturday, July 2: Chicken breast on a bun, tossed salad, coleslaw, tomato juice, Italian dressing, reduced fat banana muffin, and milk.

Monday, July 4: Closed.

Tuesday, July 5: Manicotti with sauce, Normandy blend, green peas, diced peaches, Italian bread with margarine, chocolate cupcake or angel food cake, and milk.

TRUMBULL COUNTY

The Trumbull County Office of Elderly Affairs offers older people a well-balanced meal and an opportunity to share fellowship weekdays at 12 locations in Trumbull County. Reservations must be made two working days in advance. Any person 60 or older or whose spouse is 60 or over is eligible to attend. There is no income requirement. The suggested donation is $1.50 per meal.

Wednesday, June 29: Tossed salad with french dressing, tuna salad, three bean salad, diced peaches, wheat bread with margarine, and milk.

Thursday, June 30: Chicken breast patty on a bun with mayo packet, green beans, cauliflower, orange, and milk.

Friday, July 1: Hamburger on a bun with ketchup and mustard, yellow beans, potato spudster, diced pears, and milk.

Monday, July 4: Closed.

Tuesday, July 5: Barbecue riblet, Diamond Jim bun, scalloped potatoes, spinach and vinegar, golden apple, and milk.
