Lisa Marie Luchey exchanged wedding vows with James Anthony Kutchel IV during a noon ceremony July 31, 2010, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church officiated by Monsignor Michael J. Cariglio Jr.

The bride, daughter of Michael and Saundra Luchey of Boardman, and the groom, son of James Kutchel of Austintown and Nell Kutchel of Boardman, left for a honeymoon in Playa Mujeres, Mexico, after their reception at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Social Hall. The couple reside in Boardman.

The bride wore a diamond-white strapless, fitted organza gown featuring a flowing train. The gown, which was embellished with crystals, was fashioned with a sweetheart neckline. The fingertip veil, gathered to a crystal headpiece, was worn by the bride’s mother on her wedding day.

Jackie Kutchel, sister of the groom and maid of honor, wore a violet gown, and raspberry gowns were worn by the bridesmaids, Gina Kutchel, sister of the groom; Chrissie Broderick; Dawn Knight; Jennifer Mohr; and JoEllen Mrofchak.

Dr. Adam Luchey, brother of the bride, was the best man, and the groomsmen were the bride’s cousin, Ross Whitmore; Tim Fitzgerald, Greg Kirchner, Ryan Reese; and Tony Pizzola.

The bride graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education. She holds a master’s degree in curriculum and classroom instruction from Ashland University and a second master’s in school counseling from Westminster College in New Wilmington, Pa. She is a science teacher and cheerleading coach for Boardman Schools. She also is the competition team director for Judy Conti Dance Studios.

The groom is in his second year at the University of Akron School of Law. He graduated from YSU with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and is employed by ITT Technical Institute.
