YOUNGSTOWN

An exhibition of historic checks signed by U.S. Presidents Abraham Lincoln, George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Franklin Roosevelt, Theodore Roosevelt and Ulysses. S. Grant as well as Mark Twain, Thomas Edison, Ralph Waldo Emerson and Susan B. Anthony, will be on display between Tuesday and July 17 at the Arms Family Museum, 648 Wick Ave.

The exhibit, owned by Huntington Bank, also features seven of the eight Ohio natives who became president — James A. Garfield, Grant, Warren G. Harding, Benjamin Harrison, William Henry Harrison, William McKinley and William H. Taft. Museum hours are 1 to 5 p.m. Tuesday-Sunday. Admission is $4 ($3 for seniors, $2 for children).

SS, Medicare talk

YOUNGSTOWN

The Core Team Ministry of Union Baptist Church will have a public meeting to discuss proposed changes to Social Security and Medicare from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Monday at the church, 528 Lincoln Ave.

Parking lot to close

SALEM

Salem Community Center parking lot will be closed for resurfacing Monday to Wednesday. Parking will be at the Field House, Center Circle, off Sunset Boulevard.

Health-care careers

YOUNGSTOWN

A Healthcare Career, Recruitment and Wellness Fair will be from 9 a.m. to noon Wednesday in Youngstown State University’s Rose Melnick Medical Museum, 655 Wick Ave. Those attending can learn about health-industry careers, education and employment in the field, personal health and wellness, and participate in free health screenings. Humility of Mary Health Partners will accept r sum s for employment in a range of occupations.The event is sponsored by NEO HealthForce, an industry-driven network committed to addressing work-force shortages in the health industry.
