New Castle man wanted in shooting

Todd Walker, 24, whose last known address was on Glenn Avenue, is wanted in the shooting of Charles Zduniak, 31, of Neshannock Avenue, police said.

Zduniak was shot in his shoulder as he was getting out of his car shortly after midnight Friday at a bar on South Ray Street.

He was taken to St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown. New Castle Police Chief Tom Sansone said his injuries weren’t life-threatening. The hospital had no information on his condition.

Sansone said Zduniak and Walker knew each other. Police don’t know the motive for the shooting, he said.

Walker is charged with criminal attempted homicide, aggravated assault, reckless endangering and carrying a gun when legally prohibited from doing so.

Sansone said Friday afternoon that police were looking for Walker.
