The band will perform Tuesday at Austintown Park at 7 p.m. It will help usher in Independence Day by traveling to Pennsylvania to perform at Buhl Park in Sharon July 3 at 6 p.m. It will make its annual appearance at Firestone Park in Columbiana on the Fourth of July at 7 p.m. All the concerts are free and open to the public.

Under the direction of Anthony Cebriak, the band will perform three different medleys of popular songs that span the decades. “Themes Like Old Times II” will take the audience back in time with “Swanee,” “For Me and My Gal,” “Pretty Baby,” and “Tiger Rag.” Fifties rock-and-roll lovers can dance and sing along to “Sock Hop Tonight!” which includes “At the Hop,” “Venus,” and “Love Me Tender.” Finally, the ever popular sounds of Abba will be heard in “Abba On Broadway” with “I Have a Dream,” “Mamma Mia,” and “Dancing Queen.”

The trumpet section will continue to showcase its musical talents with the fast-paced and well known piece “Travelin’ Trumpets.” “Crosley March,” “Big Band Signatures,” and “Strike Up the Band” feature various sections of the band and give all the band members a chance to show off their musical skills for the audience.

The program will also include pieces such as “Blue and the Gray,” a medley of familiar melodies including “The Yellow Rose of Texas” and the always stirring “Battle Hymn of the Republic” to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the Civil War.

The concert will have patriotic themes like “America the Beautiful” and “Chimes of Liberty March” for the Fourth of July holiday. “Armed Forces—The Pride of America” will honor veterans and current members of the Armed Forces.
