“Community Connection” (7 p.m. Sunday on 21 WFMJ-TV; and 10 a.m. Tuesday on Time Warner Cable community access channel): The community is ramping up for the Trumbull County Fair. Jenna DePizzo, Miss Trumbull County Fair; and Rich Roscoe of the Trumbull County Fair board will join host Madonna Chism Pinkard to discuss the activities during the fair and how the community can participate.
Next, Sabbrina Landers, Kendra Allen and Buffy Malone of Girl Scouts of Northeast Ohio will discuss programming geared toward development of young women and how Scout troops can be formed in churches and neighborhoods.

Trunk sale to aid animal organization

For the Dogs Animal Rescue will hold a car-trunk sale from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. July 9 at Shepherd Self Storage, 7469 South Ave. Parking spots are available to rent at $20 ($35 for two). For information, send an email to forthedogs_kate@yahoo.com. Proceeds will go to For the Dogs, a non-profit group that saves dogs mainly at the Mahoning County dog pound.
