Copper pipe theft reported in Girard

GIRARD

A city woman reported to police that a house she owns in the 100 block of East Main Street had been broken into and the copper pipes in the basement torn out.

She made the report about 1:30 p.m. Tuesday.

The value of the pipe is estimated at $2,000.
