City man arraigned on charge he shot girlfriend in the neck
YOUNGSTOWN — A 21-year-old city man remains in Mahoning County jail on a $55,000 bond facing felonious assault charges in the shooting of his 20-year-old girlfriend.
Patrell Scott, 21, of Park Vista Drive, appeared today before Judge Robert Milich of Youngstown Municipal Court for arraignment. He pleaded not guilty and asked for a court-appointed attorney before the judge handed down the $55,000 bond.
Police were called to a shooting at 4:18 p.m. Thursday at 2430 Tyrell and found Melesia Day, 20, upstairs on the floor in her apartment. She’d been shot in the neck.
