Boat tours offered at Cedar Point

There are two new ways to experience Cedar Point.

Based out of the Cedar Point Marina, the Sandusky Riverboat Company and North Coast Excursions are now offering paddlewheel boat tours and personalized cruises daily through the end of the season.

The paddlewheel cruises will operate from noon to 9 p.m., while North Coast Excursions will be scheduled based on personal preference.

The 40-minute paddlewheel trips aboard The Winnebago will cruise on Sandusky Bay. The Winnebago holds 49 passengers and will be docked next to Famous Dave’s in the Cedar Point Marina. Reservations are recommended but not required. The cost is $10 ($5 for ages 5-12 and 62 and over); $8 for active and retired armed forces members.

At North Coast Excursions, passengers can create a customized cruise aboard the 31-foot Tiara. Boaters can select an afternoon or evening cruise or even a full-day adventure. Prices are $800 for a half-day, $1,200 for a full day. Reservations are recommended; call 440-315-3478.
