Slavens-Brindle engagement is announced

Brian and Kathleen Slavens of Youngstown and Charles Brindle and Denise Brindle, both of Boardman, are announcing the wedding plans of their children, Ashley Patrice Slavens of Youngstown and Brian Edward Brindle of Boardman.

The bride-elect, a graduate of Youngstown State University with a degree in marketing management, is employed as director of game-day operations for the Youngstown Phantoms Hockey Team in Youngstown.

The prospective groom attends YSU, studying for a degree in business administration. He is employed as showroom manager for Phantom Fireworks in Austintown.

Invitations will be extended for the couple’s wedding, planned for 1 p.m. Sept. 3 at St. Patrick Church, and for their reception at The Embassy, both in Youngstown.
