Sept. plans told for Lisa Leone, Thaddeus Poweski

The engagement and upcoming marriage of Lisa Marie Leone of Columbus, daughter of Philip and Nancy Leone of Canfield and the late Jacquelyn Leone, to Thaddeus Robert Poweski of Columbus, son of Bob and Mary Beth Poweski of Howland, are being announced by their parents.

The couple will be married at 2 p.m. Sept. 3 at St. Columba Cathedral in Youngstown. Their reception will follow at Avalon Inn at Buhl Park Country Club in Sharon, Pa. Invitations will be issued.

Dr. Leone earned her bachelor’s degree at John Carroll University and her doctor of dental surgery degree at Ohio State University College of Dentistry. She is enrolled in the endodontic residency program at OSU and is working toward a master’s degree.

Mr. Poweski received his bachelor’s degree in business administration from John Carroll University. He is employed by Automatic Data Processing as a district manager in its major accounts division.
