Tickets are now available for Cops & Quesadillas, a fundraiser for the Boardman Coalition Against Crime. The event begins at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at Los Gallos Mexican Restaurant on U.S. Route 224, near the West Boulevard intersection. Paint Poland Purple for Relay for Life

Relay For Life of Poland volunteers will Paint Poland Purple Saturday and Sunday. Volunteers will work with businesses to hang up posters and tie purple ribbons around trees and utility poles. Anyone who would like to help is asked to meet at 10 a.m. Saturday at Poland Library, 311 S. Main St.

“Paint Poland Purple” serves as a visual reminder that the American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life of Poland is quickly approaching. The Relay will be from 6 p.m. July 8 to 6 p.m. July 9 at Poland Seminary High School, 3199 Dobbins Road.
