A summary of recent police activity in the city of Canfield and Austintown:

CANFIELD

June 13

Misuse of credit card: A resident of the 500 block of Janet Drive reported that several transactions were made to her credit card over the Internet. She was able to cancel some of the charges and has closed the account.

AUSTINTOWN

June 13

Menacing: A juvenile reported being menaced by another at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Festival, 4470 Norquest Blvd.

Assault: A woman alleged another woman assaulted her at the festival.

Warrant: Police arrested Dominic Jacobs, 26, of Oakland, Calif., on a California warrant for probation violation and drug abuse.

Theft: Prescriptions, $25 and 200 compact discs were stolen from a vehicle parked at a home in the 3000 block of Avalon Court.

Aggravated robbery: A man who displayed a handgun stole about $400 at Check Into Cash, 4774 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: Personal belongings were stolen from an auto parked at Club Gossip, 1743 S. Raccoon Road.

Burglary: Appliances and copper were stolen from a home in the 300 block of Monaca Avenue.

June 14

Criminal damaging: A bay window was damaged at a home in the 60 block of Kleber Avenue.

Aggravated menacing: A woman said she was threatened over the telephone at a home in the 1000 block of Bexley Avenue.

Criminal damaging: A window was damaged by a BB at a home in the 6000 block of Kirk Road.

Recovered property: An Ohio license-plate stolen in Boardman was recovered.

Theft: An Internet scam was reported at a home in the 3000 block of Wyndclift Place.

Warrant: Police arrested Miranda Alberter, 30 of 89 Highland Ave., Struthers, on a warrant for domestic violence.

Criminal damaging: Two windows were shattered and vinyl siding was spray painted at a home in the 3000 block of Meander Reserve Circle.

Criminal damaging: A vehicle fender was scratched at a home in the 2000 block of Oak Trace.

June 15

Criminal damaging: Windows and an inflatable pool were damaged with a BB gun at a home in the 3000 block of Burkey Road.

Theft: Police issued summons to Paulette Sitnic, 52, of 1161 S. Raccoon Road, and Lori Jordan, 43, same address, for theft at Kmart, 4475 Mahoning Ave.

Drug offense: Police charged Arias Shivers, 26, of 7648 Huntington Drive, Boardman, and Melissa Bowson, 40, of 815 Woodford Ave., Youngstown, with drug abuse of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Criminal damaging: A vehicle and a boat were damaged at a home in the 2000 block of Oaktrace Drive.

Theft: A deposit was made for work that was never performed at a home in the 2000 block of Amberly Street.

June 16

Drug offense: Police charged Robert Buila, 33, of 33 Ella St., Girard, with possession of suspected marijuana and cocaine after his arrest at the Ice House, 5516 W. Webb Road.

Theft: A CD player was taken from an auto in the 4000 block of New Road.

Theft: A check was taken from an auto parked at a home in the 300 block of North Meridian Road.

Menacing: A man was threatened by another man at a home in the 2000 block of South Meridian Road.

Aggravated menacing: A 13-year-old boy was a victim of aggravated menacing at a home in the 4000 block of Westlake Boulevard.

Drug offense: Police charged Christopher Powers, 19, of 308 Forest Hill with drug abuse of marijuana.

Criminal mischief: A vehicle was egged at a home in the 5000 block of Madrid Drive.

Theft: Mail was stolen from a home in the 200 block of South Raccoon Road.

Menacing: A 6-year-old girl was being menaced at a home in the 3000 block of Ascott Drive.

Criminal damaging: A cracked windshield was reported at a home in the 2000 block of South Raccoon Road.

June 17

Recovered property: A purse was found and placed in evidence in the 1000 block of Compass West.

Theft: Police arrested George Thompson III, 18, of 5531 Cider Mill Crossing, for stealing candy at Sheetz Gas station, 5499 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: An in-dash CD, CDs and coins were stolen from a vehicle parked in the 3000 block of Black Oak Court.

Warrant: Police arrested Timothy Rollison Jr., 24, of 4150 Pembrook Road, No. 122, on an outstanding warrant.

Drug offense: Police charged Deanna Hoppa, 18, of 3980 Nassau Court, with possession of drug paraphernalia after her arrest at Idaho Road and Mahoning Avenue.

Theft: A temporary tag was stolen from an auto parked at a home in the 2000 block of Carnegie Avenue.

Theft: The drug Suboxone, used to treat opiate addiction, was stolen from a home in the 700 block of Regal Drive.

Fraud: Unauthorized purchases were reported at a home in the 100 block of Country Green.

Burglary: Police charged Justin Walworth, 25, no address listed, with the crime after his arrest at a home in the 100 block of South Roanoke Avenue.

Fraud: Unauthorized purchases were reported at an apartment in the 1000 block of Fountain Square.

Domestic violence: Police charged Edward Carnahan, Jr., 19, of 4200 Pembrook Road, Apt. 10, with the crime.

June 18

Auto theft: A 2004 Mustang was stolen from the parking lot in the 60 block of Westminster Avenue.

Criminal damaging: A window was damaged at Burger King, 5496 Clarkins Drive.

Warrants: Police arrested Ethan Zalovick, 31, of 234 S. Bon Air Ave., Youngstown, on warrants for failure to appear in court on a trespassing charge and a probation violation

Recovered property: A 2004 Ford Mustang was recovered at Frederick and Third streets.

Misuse of credit card: Misuse of a credit card was reported at a home in the 200 block of First Street.

Theft: A boys’ Mongoose bicycle was stolen from a home in the 300 block of Allendale Avenue.

Theft: A Dell computer, an Xbox and games were stolen at Kmart, 4475 Mahoning Ave.

Domestic violence: Police charged Stephen Hogan, 22, of 821 Pennsylvania Ave., Apt. 2, Youngstown, with the crime after his arrest at an apartment in the 900 block of Compass West.

Robbery: A robbery was reported at a home in the 900 block of Compass West.

June 19

Aggravated robbery: A man armed with a handgun stole $150 from the 76 Spa, 5335 Seventy-Six Drive.

Drug offense: Police charged Vincent Allen Jr., 29, of 956 Homewood Ave., Warren, with possession of marijuana, Robert Crenshaw, 29, of 1001 Commerce St., Warren, for possession of 27 small bags of suspected marijuana, Jason Flowers, 28, of 1534 Ferndale Ave., SW, Warren, for drug abuse of marijuana, and Levon Allen, 26, 1911 Tod Ave., NW, Warren, and Natise Heller, 28, of 956 Homewood Ave., Warren, on outstanding warrants, after their arrest in the parking lot at Go-Go Girls Cabaret, 5455 Clarkins Road.

Drug offense: Police issued a summons to Nimala Alamin, 32, of 4320 Devonshire Drive, Boardman, for drug abuse of marijuana.

Burglary: A home was burglarized twice in the same day in the 3000 block of Ferdinand Road.

Criminal damaging: A vehicle fender was damaged, possibly by a BB pellet in the 6000 block of Kirk Road.

Burglary: Someone entered at a home in the 3000 block of Ferdinand Road.

Theft: A cellphone was stolen from a home in the 4000 block of Kirk Road.
