Mahoning Valley auto-theft rate fell in 2010
The auto theft rate in the Mahoning Valley fell in 2010, according to data released today by the The National Insurance Crime Bureau.
The Youngstown-Warren-Boardman region had a theft rate of 202 per 100,000 in population. The Valley was the 137th-ranked metro area nationally. The report ranked 366 metro areas.
Auto thefts nationwide fell for the seventh straight year.
