DAR chapter meets, installs officers
CANFIELD
The Mahoning Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution met June 13 at A La Cart Catering in Canfield.
The meeting included a memorial service for two members who recently passed away: Carol W. Bell and Patricia Sirls.
Installation of the chapter’s new officers was the primary purpose of the meeting. Officers are Mary Altiere, Regent; Milly Lumley, vice regent; Priscilla Hutton, chaplain; Rolayne Kasmer, recording secretary; Barbara Parker, corresponding secretary; Frances Stoner, treasurer; Nancy Lewis, registrar; Bonnie Casto, historian/librarian; and three board members, Carol Tallman, Mary Lou Shively and Sarah reynolds.
The new officers will preside over the chapter meetings beginning Sept. 12. Memberships are welcome. Those interested should call Lewis at 330-549-2305 or email cabg3@zoominternet.net.
