SENIOR CITIZENS


55-Plus Club of Mineral Ridge will meet at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at St. Mary’s Church, 12:30 p.m. Members will dine out after the meeting and cards games.

Austintown REAC 3298 will meet at 1 p.m. Monday at the Aerie on Raccoon Road. Birthdays and anniversaries will be observed, and there will be a 50-50 drawing. Donna Joseph and Betty Evanoski will serve as hostesses. The next meeting will be the annual picnic at 1 p.m. July 18 at the Aerie.

Holy Family Seniors will meet at 11:30 a.m. Monday at Holy Family Center, in Hope Hall. Use the Youth Center entrance. Jennie Nethers will preside, and there will be cards, bingo and a 50-50 raffle.Pizza, snacks, coffee and tea will be served. Hostesses are Rose Colella, Millie Chopp and Marianne DeGifis. Holy Name Seniors will meet at 1 p.m. June 26 in Founders Hall. Attendance fee is $2. Members may sign up for the July summer picnic at this meeting. Hosts are Agnes and Larry Phillips and Ann and Joe Tumpak.

Liberty Friends will meet at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Liberty Presbyterian Church for fellowship, cards and games. Take a sack lunch; coffee will be provided. All are welcome.

Local 1199 will meet at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Union Hall on Belmont Ave. for the monthly meeting. New and old members are invited. After the meeting, the group will dine out.

Martha Lupse 50-Plus Card and Game Club will meet from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Room 106 at Poland United Methodist Church. Bridge, 500, chess and checkers will be played, and Barbara Burnside will give the devotions. Members are reminded to take a sack lunch; coffee and tea will be provided. Third Baptist Keenagers will meet at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the church for the last summer meeting. The agenda is to complete plans for a shopping trip July 21 in Hartville, Ohio. Plans also are to be completed for a luncheon and a show on Sept. 15 at Das Dutch Haus in Columbiana. Money for both will be due at the June 21 meeting. All are asked to attend.
