Pesci admitted to bar
Lori L. Pesci of Poland was admitted to the Ohio State Bar last month during ceremony at the Ohio Supreme Court. Atty. Pesci received her juris doctorate degree from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law at Cleveland State University. She is also a graduate of Youngstown State University, earning her bachelor’s degree in criminal justice in 1992 and master’s degree in police administration in 1999.
She is the senior administrator for the Summit County Division of Public Safety in Akron.
Ford is 3rd in class
Nicole R. Ford of Austintown, daughter of Wally and Joan Ford, also of Austintown, recently received her law degree from Akron University Law School, summa cum laude. She was third in her class.
Ford was valedictorian of her graduating class at Austintown Fitch High School in 2001 and was a 2004 graduate of Duquesne University, Pittsburgh.
She will be working for Davis & Young law firm, which has offices in Cleveland, Akron and Youngstown-Warren, after passing the bar exam.

Canfield native gets doctor of medicine
Amy E. Daliman of Canfield, has completed the doctor of osteopathic medicine degree at the Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine of Midwestern University.
Dr. Daliman is the daughter of Canfield residents J.P. and Jean Daliman. She graduated from Canfield High School in 2003 and earned a bachelor of science in biology from Ohio State University in 2007.
After graduation, Dr. Daliman plans to complete a residence program in internal medicine at St. John Providence Hospital in Warren, Mich.

Boardman grad gets doctor of pharmacy
Marc Schiavoni, a 2003 graduate of Boardman High School, recently graduated from Temple University, where he earned a doctor of pharmacy degree.
He received his undergraduate degree from Ohio State University in pharmaceutical science. He is currently employed by CVS in Marathon, Fla., and lives in Islamorada, Fla.
Schiavoni is the son of Atty. Louis and Joan Schiavoni and grandson of David and Rosemary Keffler, Sophia Schiavoni and the late Joseph Schiavoni.
