Luncheon to mark 50th anniversary for the Arundels

Mr. and Mrs. Frank W. Arundel Sr. of Liberty will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with family and friends during a luncheon hosted by their children on July 10.

The couple’s family includes their children and their spouses, Alicia Arundel of Girard, Beth Arundel and Charles Russell of Liberty, Frank and Grazia Arundel Jr. of Canfield, and their five grandchildren, Matthew, Mitchell, Lexxi, Ava and Aidan. Their son Stephen is deceased.

Mr. Arundel and the former Maureen Gonda were married June 17, 1961, at St. Paul Church in Salem. They are members of St. Rose Church in Girard.

Mr. Arundel served four years with the United States Navy and was employed for 39 years with the railroad.

Mrs. Arundel worked for United Optical, Modern Optical and was a secretary for St. Vincent de Paul Church in Vienna.
