Go Wild at the Park to focus on waterfowl

SALEM

The third program of the four-part Go Wild at the Park series continues at Waterworth Memorial Park at 2 p.m. Tuesday.

Gary Meiter, naturalist with Mill Creek MetroParks and a volunteer at Beaver Creek Wildlife Education Center, will share his knowledge of Ohio waterfowl.

Participants should meet at pavilion 9 near the duck pond and playground in Waterworth Park. Follow the signs near and within the park to find the pavilion.

The program is free, and no registration is required. Wear comfortable shoes and take binoculars/cameras as desired.

The series was made possible through a partnership of Salem City Parks and Salem Public Library.
