CANFIELD

“Fire Up for the Fourth” is the theme for the 46th annual 4th of July Parade and Celebration.

The parade will be dedicated to the memory of Canfield Fire Chief Bob Tieche, who died May 28.

The Firecracker Fun Run will begin the day, followed by the parade, which includes Scottish bagpipers, marching bands, vintage cars, floats, military color guards and local officials.

Along with the dedication ceremony and introduction of the grand marshal, the Canfield Historical Society will dedicate a state historic marker, followed by a performance by the Youngstown Symphonic Band.

New this year will be more games and activities for both older and younger children to enjoy.
