50 years of marriage for Gibbonses

MINERAL RIDGE

John J. Jr. and Mary P. Gibbons of Mineral Ridge, who were married June 10, 1961, at St. Stephen of Hungary Church, Youngstown, observed their 50th wedding anniversary.

The couple have three children, John Gibbons of Pickerington, Christine Gibbons of Nevada, Ohio, and Michael Gibbons of North Jackson; and four grandchildren.

Mrs. Gibbons, the former Mary P. Kuty, retired in 2006 as an elementary teacher with Austintown Public Schools.

Mr. Gibbons was a die maker at General Motors in Lordstown until he retired in 2001.
