v Family fun night, 6 p.m.: Boardman Township Park presents its event at the Maag Outdoor Arts Theatre. Classic Cruisers will play oldies from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. At 8:15, there will be an animal presentation by the Division of Wild Life, then the movie “Over the Hedge.” There will be food concessions and other activities. Bring blankets or lawn chairs.

v Simply Slavic, noon to 11 p.m.: The first festival celebrates the city’s Slavic community with activities on Federal Plaza East. There will be a “beer garden,” a baking contest and Euro disco with DJ Richard Elmsworth.

v Zoso with the Kellys, 8 to 11 p.m.: The music is at Warren Amphitheatre, 303 Mahoning Ave., Warren.

v Art Fair on the Boardwalk, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.: Conneaut Lake Park hosts the gathering. The replica of the original lead horse from the Carousal will be on display in the renovated Dockside. It also will be Sunday.

v Atlanta Rhythm Section, 7 p.m.: Band to perform at Mill Creek MetroParks’ Judge Morley Pavilion.

“Outcasts” (9 p.m., BBC America): The new drama, “Outcasts,” whisks viewers to a post-Earth world, where a group of courageous pioneers try to start over on a planet called Carpathia. Complications, of course, ensue.

“WFMJ Community Connection” (7 a.m. Sunday on Channel 21 and 10 a.m. Tuesday on Time Warner Cable PTV Community access channel): Host Madonna Chism Pinkard will talk with Tonie Jackson and Lori Beulah of YouthBuild Mahoning County, which is affiliated with a national nonprofit organization that provides education and job skills to unemployed young Americans. Congress has basically eliminated its funding.

“Increase the Peace” (6:30 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. Sunday on MyYTV): Host Andrea Mahone will welcome guests Arlette Gatewood, Donald “Buster” McCloud and Joe Moss Sr., who will discuss the Father’s Day of the Year Award.

Youngstown Playhouse and the Summer Youth Theatre Camp will present the hit teen musical “13” at 2 and 7 p.m. Thursday and at 2 p.m. Friday at Youngstown Playhouse, 600 Playhouse Lane. Director is Liz Rubino, formerly of Youngstown.

Lennon art sale

A John Lennon art show and sale featuring 1,500 paintings, drawings, wood carvings, sculptures, glassware and wall hangings of the late musician will be from noon to 10 p.m. June 27 at Crest Lanes, 3390 Youngstown Road SE, Warren. The original works are by Warren artist David Reahle, a longtime Lennon fan.
