Poland Library plans Harry Potter party

The Public Library of Youngstown and Mahoning County’s TeenXTreme librarians are inviting teens in grades 7 through 12 to gather at the Poland Library from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. July 8 to celebrate in anticipation of the last of the Harry Potter movies, “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2,” which will be released in July.

At this after-hours party, the program, “Harry Potter: The Final Foray,” will be a magical celebration of all things Potter. Dress as your favorite character, if you like. There will be food, games, prizes and crafts.

And, like our heroes who return to Hogwarts to find Voldemort’s horcruxes, teens attending the party will have a chance to hunt for horcruxes in the library.
