Miss Fossesco, Mr. Schmidt plan a July wedding

Plans for the engagement and upcoming marriage of Noreen Fossesco and Ed Schmidt, both of Avon, Ohio, are being announced by their parents, Anthony and Joanne Fossesco of Boardman and Ed and Elyce Schmidt of Chagrin Falls, Ohio.

The wedding will take place July 16 in an early evening ceremony in the Smoky Mountains in Gatlinburg, Tenn. A reception will follow at the Buckberry Creek Lodge, also in Gatlinburg. A postnuptial celebration will take place July 30 at the Beaver Creek Club in Amherst, Ohio.

Miss Fossesco graduated magna cum laude from Youngstown State University with a bachelor’s degree in nursing. She is a registered nurse at the Cleveland Clinic Lorain Family Health Center in Lorain, Ohio.

Mr. Schmidt, who earned a bachelor’s degree in business from Ferris State University, served in the U.S. Marine Corps for four years and is owner and operator of Cleveland Demolition.
