The coroner ruled on the death here because Harris was taken to St. Elizabeth Health Center, where she later died.

Pennsylvania State Police said a car driven by Orville R. Harris of Ripley was heading east on George Jr. Road when he failed to stop at a stop sign and was struck on the passenger side by a pickup truck driven by a Jackson Center, Pa., woman.

Police said Doris Harris was in the passenger seat. Orville Harris and another passenger, a Grove City woman, suffered moderate injuries and were taken to Grove City Hospital. Police said all three victims were wearing seat belts.

The Jackson Center woman also was treated at Grove City Hospital.
