Criminal damaging: A boat and car were scratched at a home in the 2000 block of Oak Trace.

Assault: A man was slapped while cutting the grass at his home by another male who stopped his car, got out, and hit the man at a home in the 200 block of North Meridian Road.

Theft: Pills and a stereo were stolen from an auto parked at a home in the 4000 block of Deer Creek Court.

Lost or stolen wallet: A wallet was lost or stolen at Kirk Road Car Wash, 4429 Kirk Road.

June 1

Theft: A Stihl chain saw was stolen from a truck parked at a home in the 2000 block of Woodland Trace.

Burglary: A ring and money were taken from a home in the 3000 block of Avalon Court.

Fraud: Unauthorized charges were made to an account at a home in the 4000 block of Westchester Drive.

Fraud: Unauthorized charges were made to an account at a home in the 3000 block of Allendale Avenue.

Theft: A total of $2,102 was written from a checking account to a fictitious organization at a home in the 50 block of North Yorkshire Boulevard.

Theft: $150 was taken from an employee’s purse at Salvation Army, 5474 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: $20 was taken from an employee’s purse at Salvation Army.

Theft: A rear license plate was stolen from an auto parked at Best Western, 870 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

June 2

Resisting arrest: Police charged Dwayne Townsend Jr., 21, of 50 Westminster Drive, Apt. 22, with the crime after his arrest at Oakwood Avenue and Meridian Road.

Vehicle theft: A 1991 Chevrolet truck was stolen from the driveway of a home in the 100 block of Aldrich Road.

Theft: Numerous power tools were stolen from an auto parked in the 100 block of Aldrich Road.

Burglary: Two laptops were stolen from a home in the 3000 block of North Benton Avenue. Police arrested a Howland man.

Warrant: Police issued a warrant for Ronda Mahone, 46, no address listed, for theft.

Arrest: Police issued a warrant to Lorey Weston, 35, of 7511 Glenwood Ave., Boardman, for criminal trespassing.

Theft: Clothing was taken from the laundry room at an apartment in the 4000 block of Deer Creek Drive.

June 3

Disorderly conduct: Police charged James McCarthy, 19, of 3798 Edinburgh Drive, with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest at Shotz, 3713 Oakwood Ave.

Domestic violence: Police charged James Grope III, 38, of 4590 Sheffield Drive, with the crime.

Felonious assault, kidnapping: Police charged Robert Hillard,27, of 4811 Westchester Drive, Apt. 207, with the crimes after his arrest in the 4000 block of Westchester Drive.

Theft: Nearly 16 gallons of fuel were stolen at Country Fair, 1143 N. Niles-Canfield Road.

Aggravated menacing: A former son-in-law is accused of aggravated menacing at a home in the 20 block of North Main Street.

June 4

Kidnapping: A 14-year-old girl told police she was abducted by three males in the driveway of her home in the 400 block of New Road. The males stopped at Game Stop and McDonald’s on Mahoning Avenue and let the girl go on Fairview Road.

Recovered property: A key chain and cellphone charger were recovered in the roadway in the 100 block of South Inglewood Avenue.

Theft: Currency was taken from a home in the 4000 block of Wedgewood Drive.

June 5

Lost or stolen wallet: A brown wallet was reported lost or stolen at Pilot Oil, 1150 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Disorderly conduct: Police issued a summons to Kelsey Coffey, 21, of 1796 Kokomo Drive, Hubbard, on the charge at Wedgewood Plaza, 1739 S. Raccoon Road.

Auto theft: A 1996 Buick was stolen in the 1000 block of Fountain Square and recovered by Boardman police after a pursuit.

Telecommunications harassment: A woman reported a male had made numerous calls to her home for the last six months in the 20 block of Jonathan Lane.

Criminal damaging: A vehicle was damaged at a home in the 3000 block of Tall Oaks Lane.

Criminal damaging: A vehicle was damaged at a home in the 3000 block of Tall Oaks Lane.

Warrant: Mariann Ray, 53, of 103 Rhoda Ave., Youngstown, was arrested on Florida warrant.

Recovered property: A Sirius radio was recovered at a home in the 700 block of Notre Dame Avenue.

Theft: A green tarp was stolen from an auto at the TA Travel Center, 5400 Seventy-Six Drive.

Recovered property: A potato gun made from PVC pipe was recovered at the BP gas station, 1143 North Canfield-Niles Road.

Theft: A tractor was stolen at Sears, 6009 Mahoning Ave.

Vandalism: Rice was placed in the gas tank of a contractor’s vehicle at an unknown location.

Recovered property: Keys were recovered at the Austintown Plaza, 6000 Mahoning Ave.

Burglary: A garage was entered and a 1998 Blazer was taken at a home in the 4000 block of Westmont Drive.

Recovered property: A 2002 Chrysler PT Cruiser was recovered at Sears, Mahoning Ave., after being stolen in Pennsylvania.

Theft: Three Ohio Lottery Cash Explosion tickets were stolen from a home in the 4000 block of Burkey Road.

Attempted breaking and entering: A rear door glass was broken but entry was not gained to a home in the 200 block of Parkgate Avenue.

Fraud: Unauthorized purchases were reported at a home in the 1000 block of Ohltown Road.

Theft: Prescription medication was stolen from an apartment in the 400 block of South Raccoon Road.

Lost wallet: A wallet was reported lost at an apartment in the 1000 block of South Raccoon Road.

Theft: Tools were stolen from an apartment in the 1000 block of Laurie Drive.

Theft: Jewelry was stolen at a home in the 1000 block of Idaho Road.

Theft: Matthew Lawler, 29,of 1915 Valley Blvd., Niles, was arrested in theft of $2.59 in candy and Amanda Gerlach, 27, of 14 N. Osborne Ave., Youngstown, was arrested in the theft of $13.25 in food at Sheetz gas station, 5499 Mahoning Ave.

Passing bad checks: A client is a suspect in passing bad checks at Advance Check, 3700 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: An Ohio license plate was stolen from an auto at a home in the 4000 block of Selkirk Avenue.

Theft: A stove and cable modem were stolen from a home in the 4000 block of Burkey Road.

Disorderly conduct: Sheira Haines, 27, of 815 E.Fourth Ave., Columbus, was charged with disorderly conduct and Toriano Haines, 28, of 614 St. Louis Ave., Youngstown, was charged with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and assault on a police officer at state Route 46 and Ohltown Road.

Criminal damaging: Three vehicle tires were punctured at an apartment in the 1000 block of South Raccoon Road.

Recovered property: Keys were recovered on Starwick Drive.

Theft: Jewelry was stolen from a home in the 5000 block of West Rockwell Road.

June 10

Drug offense: Rocky Angiuli, 29, 9616 Canfield-Columbiana Road, Canfield, was arrested on a drug offense for possession of marijuana seeds at Mahoning Avenue and Four Mile Run Road.

Obstructing: Jeffrey Kihm, 54, of 3318 Mae Drive, Lordstown, was arrested on a charge of obstructing official business and released with a summons at Chippers, 5 N. Edgehill Ave.

Tampering with coin machines: A coin washing machine was tampered with in the 4000 block of Rhode Island Drive.

Theft: Two cellphones were stolen at Huntington Bank, 6010 Mahoning Ave.

Burglary: There was no forced entry and nothing was stolen at a reported burglary at a home in the 4000 block of Burkey Road.

Telecommunications harassment: An unknown male is accused of telephone harassment at a home in the 2000 block of Penny Lane.

Auto theft: A 1994 Oldsmobile Cutlass was stolen from a parking lot in the 2000 block of South Raccoon Road.

Warrant: David Collins, 26, 7421 West Blvd., Boardman, was arrested on a warrant charging failure to appear on a criminal damaging charge.

Menacing: An unknown female caller is accused of menacing at a home in the 3000 block of Victoria Road.

June 11

Disorderly conduct: Rudolf Jackson, 31, of 63895 Calvary Court, Youngstown, was arrested for disorderly conduct at Javit Court and Mahoning Avenue.

Warrant: Cassandra Barber, 20, of 58 North Kimberly Ave., was arrested on a warrant for child endangering and felonious assault in the 50 block of N. Kimberly Avenue.

Criminal damaging: A pool liner was cut at a home in the 3000 block of Darbyshire Drive.

Burglary: The screen was pushed in on an enclosed porch at a home in the 200 block of Parkgate Ave.

Warrant: Keith Allen, 55, of 66 W. Chalmers Ave., Youngstown, was arrested on a warrant charging theft at Marc’s, 4755 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: Roof shingles were stolen from a home in the 4000 block of Burkey Road.

Criminal damaging: A window on a vehicle was damaged at Blue Ribbon, 4004 Mahoning Ave.

Warrant: Janet Howell, 41, of 1210 Kimmec St., Youngstown, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear to comply with a workers’ compensation payment.

Theft: Currency was stolen from an auto at a home in the 1000 block of Cedarwood Drive.

Robbery: A female was injured as friends tried to steal her purse and she was dragged by a vehicle in the 4000 block of Pine Trace.

Burglary: A house was ransacked and a car taken at a home in the 3000 block of Warwick Court.

Theft: Household items were taken and recovered at Wal-Mart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.

June 12

Burglary: Watches, a television and a laptop were stolen from a home in the 3000 block of Monaca Drive.

Drug offense: Nicole Kunovic, 26, 6010 Gibson Road, Canfield, was arrested on charges of drug abuse of heroin, drug instruments and drug paraphernalia at the Go-Go-Girls Cabaret, 5455 Clarkins Drive.

Breaking and entering: A lawn mower was stolen at a home in the 100 block of North Beverly Avenue.

Warrant: Eugene Bowens, 23, of 610 Lee Ave., Youngstown was arrested on a warrant for theft and larceny at Mahoning Avenue and Meridian Road.

Warrant: Heather Gmucs, 25, of 2938 Tibbets-Wick Road, Girard, was arrested on a warrant for receiving stolen property in the 1000 block of North Canfield Road.
